About AEEA

 WHAT IS AEEA?

AEEA is a networking and information based organization that works with educators, students, business, government, and the general public to increase the awareness and knowledge about the environment.

AEEA works with environmental education (EE) providers to promote programs and increase capacity building of EE programs in Arkansas. Information is provided through AEEA's newsletter, The Natural State, meetings and workshops, and the biennial EE Expo.

AEEA is the only statewide network of environmental educators. It is the state affiliate of the North American Association for Environmental Education (NAAEE).  By promoting EE we have a more environmentally literate public which provides a better understanding on how we keep Arkansas the Natural State. AEEA’s purpose is to promote and advocate for environmental education which incorporates a number of disciplines including conservation and natural resource education.

Brad was born and raised on a farm in Batesville. His family was instrumental in educating him on the environment and the importance of taking care of what we have today to ensure that it will be enjoyed by future generations. Brad no longer lives in Batesville, but is still a loyal Pioneer fan through and through!
